I architect, deploy, operate — and extend — enterprise GIS platforms end to end. Most people own one link in that chain. I own the whole loop: from the data model, through cloud deployment and go-live, into day-to-day operations, and down to the custom code that pushes the platform past what it does out of the box.

Across energy, utilities, mining, water and government — delivered through roles at Esri Australia, NGIS and AAM. Client names withheld; all examples de-identified and free of confidential detail.
Built custom workflows and UI components on Geocortex/VertiGIS that fused ArcGIS and non-GIS operational data into one interface for infrastructure teams.
Wrote release tooling to publish ArcGIS Portal items and align Utility Network data through a CI/CD pipeline on AWS — repeatable, reviewable, low-risk.
GIS specialist support to a major miner's GIS and R&D teams, including ML-assisted workflows and computer vision (YOLOv8) on spatial imagery.
Migrated the interface off a legacy system to Geocortex; led architecture, HA deployment, and wrote a custom water-tracing algorithm over the network.
Designed and stood up multi-scale ArcGIS Enterprise deployments on AWS and Azure for water utilities, engineering firms, electricity networks and a university.
Implemented fire-risk-mitigation spatial-analysis models with Geocortex Workflow and ArcGIS for Server, surfaced through an operational viewer.

I started in geospatial at Esri China — implementing and tuning the ArcGIS for Server suite, building custom solutions and training clients (recognised as Outstanding Employee, with several Technical Innovation prizes).
In Australia I've worked across the consulting and engineering spectrum — Geosolutions Architect at AAM, Consultant at Esri Australia, Senior GIS Developer at NGIS, and now enterprise GIS operations at a global energy company. Having sat on both the vendor and client side, I translate between business need and technical reality — and I write the code as readily as I draw the architecture.
